I covered an MLK Speaker Event where Sherrilyn Ifill, former president and director-counsel of the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, delivered the keynote address at Northwestern. Following her remarks, Ifill participated in a discussion with Sheila Bedi, clinical professor at Northwestern Pritzker School of Law and director of the Community Justice and Civil Rights Clinic.
